Some of my favorite memories here involve the simplest joys: grilling carne asada outdoors, savoring meals around the table during Mexican-style family gatherings, and like in all good Mexican homes, spending time in the heart of it all: the kitchen. And speaking of pan, nearby bakeries in La Rumorosa serve some of the best bread I’ve ever tasted. Straight from the oven, soft and warm, the pan dulce alone is worth the trip.
